Tatyana Korotayeva is a phenomenal realtor and has inspired us to write this glowing review to let you know about her wonderful work. She has been friendly, calm, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout our home purchasing process and our family now considers her a friend. As first-time buyers, my mom and I had a lot of questions, sometimes meeting or calling Ms. Korotayeva multiple times a day. She answers all of our questions promptly and kindly. However, what makes her truly special is that she always offers unprompted detailed explanations of important documents and changes. We highly appreciate this and feel that this shows she truly cares about our comfort and understanding of the home purchasing process. Ms. Korotayeva has been a persistent and an effective advocate for us ensuring we got the best terms and the lowest price. She ensured our offer was accepted by highlighting key circumstances that set us apart from other buyers as well as communicating with the seller’s agent about our competitiveness and modifying the offer letter accordingly. She has also suggested and written an amendment asking the seller to offset some of the fixing costs uncovered by the inspection. At the end, our dream home unexpectedly ended up costing us $30,000 lower than our original offer. We were so happy about this especially during the currently hot real estate housing markets in Utah. Furthermore, Ms. Korotayeva has even gifted a portion of her commission to us. To secure the offer on our dream home we bid toward our limit. Recognizing our financial anxiety, Ms. Korotayeva has graciously gifted us to assist with our closing costs. We have never heard of such a generous gift in the real estate industry and will be forever indebted to Ms. Korotayeva for assisting us at this time of need. Ms. Korotayeva has been peerless. Spencer Stott, who she recommended we work with, has been amazing. Spencer Stott and his team including Robert Whitaker and Whitney Curtis have been very available and kindly answered all of our questions. Even when our appraisal came back low, they had several ideas ready to ensure we get into our dream home. We could not have asked for a better team or a better outcome!

Shanel McLenon was fabulous. She helped us with both the purchase of a new house and the sale of our other house. She listened to the details of what we were looking for in a new home and sent us numerous listings that met our criteria. Once we found the home we wanted she helped us successfully negotiate with the sellers and purchase the home. On the sale of our home she was once again very professional, responsive, and helpful. Our timing wasn’t ideal when we listed and the market slowed down after school started. She responded by stepping up the marketing of our house hosting several open houses and following up with interested buyers. Once again, she helped us negotiate with the buyers after we received offers and closed the sale of our house. We would highly recommend Shanel as an agent for buyers or sellers.

So to be in full disclosure, Emily is a friend and married to a high school friend of mine who was also the loan officer on the purchase of my home. I was a little worried about having a friends help because I knew that it could put strain on valued relationships. My fears were quickly dispelled.
